Urge to Kill Rising

ALL WEEK I have been waiting for the latest installment of the Real World/Road Rules Battle of the Sexes.

ALL WEEKEND I have been having dreams featuring the cast members. One in particular had sirrani and rock_god in a canoe race against Antione and Emily.

ALL DAY I spent yesterday reading the message boards on Television Without Pity, feeling out the crowd on the most recent Emily Hate Train/Love Train debates. Even though if I read the phrase "I'm still on the Emily love train" again I'll probably scream.

I even timed my laundry so that I wouldn't be interrupted during the show.

In the first segment, they quickly and undramatically wrap up the plot cliffhanger from the last that they have been plugging all week. After the first commercial, we see a bit of the aftermath of the nondrama, a sunrise, and move straight into this week's challenge. The girls who were expected to do well tanked the mission, the girls who normally suck were doing well. It was down to the one girl who due to three separate twists of fate is still in the competition, but remains the weakest player. It was her time to shine. Cut to second commercial.

We return to aftermath of the nondrama, a sunrise and move straight into this week's challenge. The girls who were expected to do well tanked the mission, the girls who normally suck were doing well. When the fuck was MTV going to realize that they botched the show? They're going to fix it and preempt Punk'd, right? Right? It was down to the one girl who due to three separate twists of fate is still in the competition, but remains the weakest player. It was her time to shine. Cut to credits.

Mother of Fuck.

Now what the hell am I supposed to do? My Tuesday is foiled. I look forward to reading the crowd's reactions on the Forums. I can not wait to read Lori, Melissa and Colin's recaps on their own personal websites. But I know they get tapes of the show a few days earlier and have their whole behind-the-scenes reviews written already, posting them right after the show airs. I know those people on the Forums are going to have read the recaps even though they haven't seen the show and talk about stuff I have not seen. I can not go to my favorite sites until I see the rest of this show, as two things can happen, and the outcome means big stuff. At least they didn't show scenes from next week. I had my finger poised on the channel up button in case that happened. I will not be spoiled.

I am NOT going to be able to deal.
