It's been eerily empty around lately. Monday I drove into work with such little traffic it was unnerving. Monday night at the gym, normally the busiest night of the week, there were free machines everywhere you looked. The parking lot at home was a cherry-pick. Yesterday, the trains were comfortable, the streets weren't clogged, and the bar at Big Hunt was downright roomy. This morning I waited to allow a nearly full cattle car to go by and had the good fortune to get a ride in one of the shiny new trains that has graced the Orange line (that, of course, in fitting with the pattern of the Orange line was empty). And it's quiet as a tomb in here this morning. I feel like the last person on earth.
