To the victors go the CASH

Mickey, Bob and I went back to Dr. Dremos to finish out the Run21 Tournament in style. Thanks to Mickey's sharp eye, he was able to notice a descrepancy between the explanation of the prize distribution and how I had interpreted it. The sign read: "$300 in prizes! $200 for first place and $100 for second". I read this as $300 being the grand prize, then first, then second. Fortunately, Mickey's head wasn't clouded with thoughts of victory, and was able to figure out that I was only going to be winning $200. I had first place sealed, as I had had for the past week. So, rather than let second place go to the bartender, we signed Mickey up, pooled our resources and got him into second place.

The clock ticked down, and we even sat there playing some Photohunt to make sure we had the game occupied just in case a dark horse decided to hop into the race. Sure enough, at 11:00 on the dot, there we were, in first and second place. Victory is ours. It was the best feeling I've had in some time: sitting at a bar, drinking with friends, playing touchscreen and getting paid for it.
