JOY

The Fear

I can say, without hyperbole, that tonight's flight to Newark was the absolute worst flight I have ever been on. I enjoy flying. Literally. I like it. Tonight, I thought I was going to die. The pilot went from going straight up at at 45 degree angle, to straight down the same. Then each turn requried making a hairpin at a nearly sideways tilt. As Mick said, it was like when you're on a roller coaster over some fake lake and think "man, I could just TOUCH that water!" except we weren't strapped in and planes aren't supposed to do that. I thought we were going to crash into Rt. 3.

Tonight also marks the first time in my life I have ever hyperventilated.

In other news, Mickey is plowed, and just walking aroudn this city recharges me in a way that nothing else does.
