And at the bottom was a check for $13.86
I barely remember filling this out. I think we did it when we were working at musicmaker, when frockazulu found the site and showed it to us. I was worried that it would put me on some list and I'd get targeted for anti-capitalism marketing crap.
But now this letter has got me wondering even more. If we did file this in 1999, how in the heck did they find me 5 years later? Was it more recently than that? I thought they usually referred to Virginia as a Commonwealth in formal documents...how come there isn't information about this on Jerry Kilgore's website?
The check looks fully legit. And I'm not balking at free money, but I gotta wonder even more: if everybody gets the same amount of money and we all got 14 bucks, they must have been fucking us over hard.
