I have not been following the news in general as much these past few weeks, and I'm not sure if the dulled sense of disconnectivity is a worthy tradeoff to feeling less angrily disappointed in the population at large. I'm trying hard to think of what the last Outrage du Semaine I focused on - I know it was pre-Cindy Whatsherface, but post Plamegate v3.5.
Just did a quick scroll-by of recent entries and can't really find the latest item of substance. There's some stuff coming up to write about, but in the meantime...
It's time for READER MAIL!!!
This question comes in via yahoo messenger from LJ's own turkishturki:
turkishturki: How long did it take for Raold Amundsen to go from his basecamp near the edge of Antarctica (starting Oct 20) to the South Pole and back. And how many miles? How many miles and how long did it take for Robert F. Scott to go from his basecamp until he died?
Well, Turkey. I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. I know what most of those words mean, but have never seen them in that order before. Anyone out there in LJ Land got a line on this?
